Wedding Bouquet Recreation And Flower Pressing Keepsakes

Wedding Bouquet Recreation And Flower Pressing Keepsakes

If your wedding has already passed and you’re wondering what to do with your flowers, recreating and pressing your bouquet is a meaningful way to preserve your day.

Even if your original bouquet is no longer available, I can carefully recreate your wedding bouquet using similar seasonal flowers, colours, and textures, and then press and preserve those blooms into a lasting keepsake.

Recreating Your Wedding Bouquet

Using your wedding photos, inspiration images, and details from your florist, I recreate a bouquet that reflects the look and feel of your original wedding flowers. The focus is on capturing the overall style — the colour palette, shape, and movement — rather than creating an exact replica.

This process is ideal for couples who:

 - Didn’t preserve their flowers straight after the wedding

 - Didn’t realise bouquet preservation was an option

 - Want a meaningful keepsake long after their wedding day

Seasonal availability is always considered, ensuring the recreated bouquet feels natural and cohesive while staying true to your original vision.

Pressing & Preserving Your Flowers

Once the bouquet is recreated, each flower is carefully selected and pressed by hand. Pressing allows the flowers to slowly dry while maintaining their shape, colour, and delicate details.

The pressing process takes time — usually several weeks — but results in beautifully preserved blooms that can be transformed into:

 - Framed pressed flower artwork

 - Heirloom keepsakes

 - Anniversary or family pieces

Each piece is designed thoughtfully, with attention to balance, spacing, and flow, ensuring your flowers are preserved as both a memory and a piece of art.

A Thoughtful Keepsake, Long After the Wedding

Recreating and pressing your wedding bouquet allows you to honour your wedding day, even if time has passed. Whether it’s been weeks, months, or even years, your flowers can still be transformed into something meaningful and lasting.

This service is available for couples across Regional and South West Victoria, with delivery or drop-off options available depending on location.

The Process

1. Enquire

Get in touch and share a few details about your wedding — your date, location, colour palette, and any inspiration images or photos of your original bouquet. The more visual reference you can provide, the better.

This step allows me to understand the overall look and feel you’re hoping to preserve.

2. Recreate

Using your images and details, I recreate a bouquet that reflects the style of your original wedding flowers. Rather than aiming for an exact replica, the focus is on capturing the essence of your bouquet — its colours, shape, movement, and mood.

Seasonal availability is always considered to ensure the recreated bouquet feels natural and cohesive.

3. Press

Once the bouquet is complete, each flower is carefully selected and pressed by hand. Pressing is a slow, gentle process that allows the flowers to dry while retaining their colour, form, and delicate details.

This stage typically takes 6–8 weeks, allowing the flowers to fully press and stabilise before design begins.

4. Design

After pressing is complete, we discuss the design of your keepsake. This includes layout, spacing, and the overall composition of your pressed flowers.

Every piece is thoughtfully arranged to highlight the beauty of the flowers and reflect the style of your wedding.

5. Frame

Once the design is finalised, your pressed flowers are professionally framed, ready to be displayed in your home as a lasting reminder of your wedding day.

Your finished piece is carefully packaged and either collected or delivered, depending on your location.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will my recreated bouquet look exactly the same as my original?

While it won’t be an exact replica, the goal is to capture the overall look and feel of your original bouquet. Colour palette, flower types, shape, and movement are all carefully considered so the finished piece feels true to your wedding day.

How long does the process take?

From pressing to final framing, the process usually takes 8–10 weeks, depending on design and framing choices. Pressing alone takes around 6–8 weeks, as the flowers need time to dry slowly and properly.

How long will pressed wedding flowers last?

When kept out of direct sunlight and away from moisture, pressed flowers can last for many years. Over time, they may soften slightly in colour — this is a natural part of the preservation process and adds to their charm.

Can I do this even if my wedding was months or years ago?

Yes. This service is specifically designed for couples whose wedding has already passed. As long as you have photos or inspiration images, a recreated and pressed bouquet is still possible.

Do you work with couples outside Warrnambool?

Yes. I work with couples across Victoria, with options for drop-off or delivery depending on location.
